So much happens in a year. Around this time 2012 my husband (then boyfriend) was deployed. He was on a MEU, sailing around the world. We had only been dating for 5 months but I was already planning our wedding. He returned in late June after a long 7 months, 1 week and 4 days of being gone. He officially popped the question 2 days after getting home (top left picture, I was completely surprised, I had no idea he’d do it at Disneyland) then 28 days later on July 21st we became Husband and Wife :) it was a perfect intimate ceremony in his parents backyard. We spent our honeymoon in Mammoth. 4 months later in late October he left for 8 weeks to complete recruiters school and graduated December 20th. We stayed for Christmas and December 27th we left California to drive 2,200 miles northeast to Indiana which is where we’ll be for the next 3 years. In 2012 we bought a new truck. We adopted a bunny. I moved 4 times (twice with my husband) I sold my car, I quit my job of 4 years and moved away from everything I’ve ever known. But to be with my husband is all that matters :) I’m just so grateful to be this blessed.
